Frequently Asked Questions

Does the app send my documents or photos to the internet?

No. All merging, watermarking, compressing, and scanning runs entirely on your iPhone using Apple's PDFKit and Core Graphics frameworks. No document or image data is ever uploaded or transmitted.

How do I add files to merge?

Tap the + button in the top-right corner of the Merge tab. You can add images from your Photo Library, PDFs and other files from the Files app, or scan a paper document with your camera (PRO).

Can I mix PDFs and images?

Yes. You can combine any number of PDFs and images in a single merge. PDF pages are preserved as-is; images are placed on the selected page size and layout.

What is "Long Image" output?

Instead of a multi-page PDF, OffiDocument stacks all pages or images into one tall scrollable image file (JPEG or PNG). This is convenient for sharing documents as a single image on messaging apps or social media.

How do I reorder pages before saving?

After choosing your export options, tap Preview & Reorder. You will see thumbnails of all pages. Drag the โ‰ก handle to reorder, tap โ†ป to rotate a page, or swipe left to delete a page before saving.

Where is the merged file saved?

By default, Save Directly writes to the app's Documents folder (On My iPhone โ€บ OffiDocument). You can also tap Save to Filesโ€ฆ to choose any folder on your device or iCloud Drive, or select Photo Library when using Long Image output.

The merged file is too large โ€” how do I reduce it?

Unlock the Compression PRO feature and choose a compression level (Low ยท Medium ยท High ยท Max). The options screen shows an estimated output size before you save.

Can I protect my PDF with a password?

Yes โ€” enable Password Protection (PRO) in the export options and enter your password. The resulting PDF is encrypted and requires the password to open.

I purchased Pro but it's locked again after reinstalling

Go to Settings โ†’ tap the crown icon (or the locked feature row) to open the paywall, then tap Restore Purchases. Your purchase is stored by Apple and can be restored for free on any device signed in with the same Apple ID.

Which languages does the app support?

The app interface is available in 12 languages. Go to Settings โ†’ Language to switch without changing your system language.
